PAUSE Exhibition

PAUSE grew from a decision to step away from habits and comfortable ways of working built over a lifetime of painting. I began questioning the choices that had become automatic, wondering what might happen if I stopped and looked again. These works reflect a period of exploration – of subject, scale and method – held together by an interest in the familiar: landscapes, people, and those moments when light, weather, memory or human presence shift our experience of something known and ask us to see it again.
