Trying to break a few old painting habits… 🎨

So I’ve swapped the brush for a palette knife in these works…🤪

It stops me fussing over detail and forces me to work more instinctively looser, freer and hopefully a little more expressive.

The Invitation 🌙🔥

A night camping in the outback with my sons during troubled times.

There’s something about the vastness out there — you can be alone without feeling lonely, small but deeply connected.

As the cold settles in, the glow of a fire or lantern becomes an invitation to come a little closer.
